Once you’ve recorded or uploaded footage, you’ll be taken to the first of two screens. This is TikTok’s main editing suite, where you’ll find diverse options to make your video unique.
The Voiceover button is a bit hidden, as you’ll need to expand the drop-down menu by clicking on the white down arrow. Voiceover is the second-to-last tool, placed underneath Voice effects and above Enhance.
On the second screen, leave the white bar where it is if you want to start a Voiceover immediately, or tap-and-drag it to select a later starting point. Then, tap or long-press the button to start recording!
Note: Don’t forget to deselect Keep original sound on the bottom left if you only want your Voiceover audio in the video.
